Financial Tips For 2018

New Year Resolutions:-

1. Avoid buying property on loans as it eats most of your earnings unless you have a clear plan for its repayment. It's important to monitor cash flow. Though, the house will be your asset, your liability will be much more.

2. Start a SIP at a very young age. Try to save atleast 15–25 % of your earnings.

3. Avoid buying a car unless you use it everyday.
.
4. Do not let this sentence scare you. “Mutual fund investment are subject to market risk. Please read the offer documents carefully before investing”. Most people avoid investing in mutual funds just because of this one warning. Yes, there is a market risk, but look at the history and growth of mutual funds.

5. Try having a simple wedding.

6. Atleast 20% of your wealth should be liquid so you can utilize it when necessary.

7. Considering inflation, you are actually losing money if it is in savings bank account. Do not keep huge money in savings bank account.

8. If you invest in stocks, pay due attention.

9. If you invest in stocks have a separate account for delivery investment and Intraday investment. It is easy to monitor this way and also makes tax calculation easy

10. Do not have a belief that property and car make you rich. Its what you save and invest, that is important.

11. Never invest in insurance for returns. Insurance is not an investment option. It is a risk management tool.

12. Never use credit cards for lavish spending. Use credit cards intelligently and for needs not for wants.

13. Cancel all credit cards before you die. Or inform family about all your accounts, credit cards, loans and saving now itself.  Even a small residue will cost your family much.

14. Invest on yourself and then on other investments.

15. Always try to balance your earnings with your savings first, then on  spending and loans. Never take unnecessary loans. Always have reserve and utilise them and unless no other go never take loan.

16. Always have a plan for future events on your career, life, spending and finance.

17. Always have a reserve on your savings for contingency and urgent situations.

18. Your personal life and health are the most important investment. Do have a regular health check and do healthy workout every day. Stay healthy and live happily.

19. Always remember death can come anytime.....so please do buy adequate term Insurance if you have dependents.

20. Prepare a Will. It may avoid unnecessary fights after you die.

Dutch Reach and how does it save lives

Dutch Reach:-

Many car drivers do not check the surrounding while opening the door of the vehicle. Seeing if something is coming from the behind before opening the door is crucial. One way to make sure that you always do that is to adopt and practice the technique called “Dutch Reach”.

Now, what exactly is ‘Dutch Reach’, and how does it save lives?

The Dutch Reach is a safety habit that is taught in the driving schools in Netherlands. The method states that you should always reach for the door handle with the farthest hand while getting out of the car. For example, if you’re sitting on the driver seat and want to get out, use your left hand to pull the door handle instead of right.

Using this technique will automatically ensure that head turns towards the door, with your eyes glancing for moving obstacles coming from behind. This way, you’ll be able to spot if some other vehicle or pedestrian is approaching from the rear. Following this method and making this a habit can save a lot of accidents that are caused due to carelessness.

Who is better person out of these three

Can you judge who is the better person out of these three

Mr A -  He had friendship with bad politicians, consults astrologers, two wives, chain smoker, drinks eight to 10 times a day.

Mr B - He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps till noon, used opium in college & drinks whiskey every evening.

Mr C - He is a decorated war hero, a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink  and never cheated on his wife.

You would say Mr.C right?

But..

Mr. A was Franklin Roosevelt! ( 32nd President of the USA)

Mr. B was Winston Churchill!! (Former British Prime Minister)

Mr C Was ADOLF HITLER!!!

Strange but true..

Its risky to judge anyone by his habits !

Character is a complex phenomenon.

So every person in ur life is important, don't judge them, accept them.
Three beautiful thoughts

1. None can destroy iron, but its own rust can!

Likewise, none can destroy a person, but his own mindset can.

2. Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going, because a straight line even in an

E.C.G. means we are not alive.

3. The same Boiling Water that hardens the egg, Will Soften the Potato!

It depends upon Individual's reaction To stressful circumstances!

Enjoy the journey called Life......

You will find great relief ,  if you are disturbed.

It's  a request.......

Once Buddha was traveling with a few of his followers.

While they were passing a lake, Buddha told one of his disciples,
"I am thirsty.
Do get me some water from the lake."

The disciple walked up to the lake.

At that moment,
a bullock cart started crossing through the lake.
As a result,
The water became very muddy and turbid.

The disciple thought,
"How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink?"

So he came back and told Buddha,
"The water in there is very muddy.
I don't think it is fit to drink."

After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back
to the lake.

The disciple went back,
and found that the water was still muddy.

He returned and informed Buddha about the same.

After sometime,
again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.

This time, the disciple found the mud had settled down, and the water was clean and clear.

So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.

Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said,
"See what you did to make the water clean.
You let it be,
and the mud settled down on its own,
and you have clear water."

Your mind is like that too ! When it is disturbed,
just let it be.
Give it a little time.
It will settle down on its own.

You don't have to put in any effort to calm it down.
It will happen.
It is effortless."

Must read for todays parents

A must read for today's parents.....!!!

Anu looked at her mother with a dull face; "Mom, I am feeling bored". Nisha felt helpless. She, Rahul, their daughter Anu, aged 9-years, and Arjun, their son aged 7-years were all traveling from Hyderabad to New Delhi, in a day train, to attend her cousin's marriage. The parents were busy professionals. Rahul had booked in AC 3 tier so that the kids can enjoy a comfortable journey. They had a 24-hour journey ahead of them and an hour had passed. The children were playing with their gadgets. The kids got bored and their parents could sense it. Rahul tried telling them a story, but they soon became restless.

A young guy in his mid-20s and an elderly uncle in his early 60s had occupied the remaining berths in their bay. A soon as the train started, the Guy had occupied his upper berth with his iPod. Rahul was about to open a new game on his laptop. The elderly uncle called Arjun," Hi! Hero, what's your name?” Arjun introduced himself.

“Shall we play a game?" questioned the uncle. Arjun asked." what can we play here?”. “Many "smiled the uncle. “Let’s start with the color game. The game is, I will tell you one color and you have to show me two objects you can find around you with the same color. Suppose I say black, then you need to show me two objects with black color in this train".

Arjun and Anu were so much excited. The game began. It was easy in the beginning. The rules were; they cannot repeat the objects. They had to remember the objects pointed to them by others. They had to observe every nook and corner of the place to find two objects. After a few rounds of playing the game, it became difficult for them. The children took much time to observe, but still progressed happily. As the going got tough, the guy who was sitting in the upper berth of the train watching them, helped Arjun and Anu with the clues. Arjun requested," Can I take help? "And the uncle said "yes". The guy was helping them as much as possible and it was fun.

The parents were just observing happily as the elderly uncle has used the game to save them from the stress of putting the children to sleep. Nisha wondered at the simplicity of the game. Children had to observe everything around them. They had to remember the things which were pointed by others. This activity increases their memory power and keeps them engaged for hours without any gadgets. By the time they have covered all the small and big objects in the Bay, it was lunch time.

Once the lunch was over, the children didn't want to sleep, as they were excited about the journey. They requested the uncle for some new game. Rahul told the kids, "Don't bother uncle. I will play some movie on the laptop and you can watch". They agreed half-heartedly.

Uncle interfered and said, "Sorry for the interruption, but Arjun shall we create a movie script with a new game". Anu was a movie freak and she was exhilarated, "what is the game, uncle?” She queried. He said, "We will create a story". Arjun replied," I can tell a story". Uncle corrected him," we all will create one. That is, each one of us will tell a line. The first one starts a line and others should continue the story by adding a line. The sentences should blend, like a movie story". He requested Rahul and Nisha to join. The young guy also joined them. They all had to get their creative juices flowing, blending together with others, so that the crux of the story remained the same. After few hours of contributing their story lines respectively, they were ready for a fantastic story with a stunning climax.

Rahul was impressed with the game. Hope his colleagues understood this. All his team members had great creative abilities, still, they all had to match up to deliver a fine product. The team spirit is not showing each individuals' excellence, but to work in harmony with others. This game practiced kids for that team spirit, from an early age and he loved it. They all had fun and excitement. The time had flown before they knew.

The children were sleepy after a fun long day. Nisha told them to have their dinner and go back to sleep. Rahul probed the uncle with the questions in his mind, “How come, sir, you could know such awesome games? Who are you?” The uncle answers;” my name is Rajendran and I am just a father like you. I am blessed with 3 kids. I am a marketing manager in a logistics company”.

Rahul spoke to him about the problem which had been bordering him. “Even though I buy many books for my kids, they don't read often. I tell them stories they listen, but they don't read. I am an avid reader still, it doesn't make any difference to them, and they are stuck to their gadgets”.

Rajendran smiled, “When my children were young, there were not many gadgets. I was busy earning and giving them a comfortable life that I didn't have time to spend with them. When they were very young, they always requested me to play with them. I used to play when I had time, which was very rare. We used to play board games like snake and ladders, Ludo and outdoor games like cricket. My son learned mental additions with snake and ladders. Each game helps kids learn many things. I thought they have company and will play with each other. I didn't understand that they need me to play with them, so they can learn the many nuances of each game. As they grew up, they didn't ask me to play with them and I was busy with my life. They all lead a successful life now. They work hard so that I and my wife can live a comfortable life. What we wish is, they spend some time with us. I can't request them, as I know they are busy. The lesson I have learned is to listen to your kid's needs. The outspoken words, the unspoken state of mind like their fears, insecurities, and all their other feelings. If they ask for our help for simple things, it means they desire to have our company. Whenever you have time, play with your kids. There are many traditional games in each and every culture. We used to play them in our childhood. So, instead of telling our kids to stop using gadgets, let us play those games with them or any other creative game which we can create on the spot. They will forget their boring gadgets soon. The best gift we can give our kids is wonderful childhood memories. They will reach their teenage soon. After they reach an age, they will not ask us to play with them. We need to utilize this golden time. Don’t tell them to stop using mobiles and tablets. Just give them enough alternatives, so they use it as a last choice. Limit their timings, don’t ban them completely. There is no perfect playbook for parenting, each family creates its own. So make yours and have fun.”

Rahul thanked him profoundly. He had a lot to think and plan. He will not waste the little time he had with kids till they grew up.

You too make happy memories with your children.

in a Dream that his Prayer is not Accepted.

One Day, He Related this Story to a 'Pious Aalim' who Advised Him to go Back to India to Visit His Parents.

The Man Flew to India & Reached the Boundary of His Village.

Everything was Changed over there.

He could not Find His House.

So He asked to the Head of the Village about the Whereabouts of His Parents.

The Head of the Village directed Him to a House & said: "In this House, Lives an Old Blind Lady who Lost Her Husband a Few Months Ago. She has a Son who Migrated to
US 20 Years back & Never came Back again. What an Unfortunate Man."

Son enters that Home &
Finds His Mother on the Bed.

He Tip-Toed as He did not want to Wake Her up.

He hears His Mother Whispering or Mumbling Something.

He gets Closer to Hear His Mothers Voice.

This is what His Mother was Saying: "God !
I am now Very Old & Blind.
My Husband just Died.
There is no One to Lower Me in My Grave when I Die. So please Send My Son to Fullfill
My Last Wish".

This is the Ending of a Story where the Prayer of a Mother is Accepted.

A Human Body can Bear only 45 Del (units) of Pain.

But at the Time of Giving Birth, A Mother feels upto 57 Del (units) of Pain.

This is similar to 20 Bones
getting Fractured, all at the Same Time.

This is just to tell U the extent, to which a Mother Loves Her Child.

So, Love Ur Mom till the End of Ur Life.

The Lady with whom U Fight almost Everyday, Suffered so much Pain
just to give U a Beautiful Life.

How many People will U Forward this to ?

I do not Mind, if I get this Message again.

I Passed it because
I Love My ⓂOTHER.

Six great confusions still unresolved 😄😂

1. At a movie theatre, which arm rest is yours?

2. In the word scent, is "S"  silent or "C"?

3. If people evolve from monkeys, why are monkeys still around?

4. Why is there a 'D' in fridge,

but not in refrigerator?

5. Who knew what time it was when the first clock was made?

And now sixer ....

 6. If pro and con are opposites, wouldn't the opposite of progress be...congress?

Vagaries of English Language! Enjoy!!!😀😀😀

- Wonder why the word funeral starts with FUN?

-Why isn't a Fireman called a Water-man?

- How come Lipstick doesn't do what it says?

- If money doesn't grow on trees, how come Banks have Branches?

- If a Vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a Humanitarian eat?

- How do you get off a non-stop Flight?

- Why are goods sent by ship called CARGO and those sent by truck SHIPMENT?

- Why do we put cups in the dishwasher and the dishes in the Cupboard?

- Why do doctors 'practice' medicine? Are they having practice at the cost of the patients?

- Why is it called 'Rush Hour' when traffic moves at its slowest then?

- How come Noses run and Feet smell?

- Why do they call it a TV 'set' when there is only one?

- What are you  vacating when you go on a vacation?

We can never find the answers, can we?

So just enjoy the pun and fun of the English language!!

Quality of Survival

Once, Lord Indra got upset with Farmers, he announced there will be No rain for 12 years & you won't be able to produce crops

Farmers begged for clemency from Lord Indra , who then said , Rain will be possible only if Lord Shiva plays his Damru , but he secretly requested Lord Shiva not to agree to these Farmers & when Farmers reached Lord Shiva he repeated the same thing that he will play Damru after 12 years

Disappointed Farmers decided to wait till 12 years but one Farmer regularly was digging treating & putting manure in the soil & sowing the seeds even with no crop emerging
Other Farmers were making fun of that Farmer . After 3 years all Farmers asked that Farmer why are you wasting your time n energy when you know that rains will not come before 12 years

He replied " I know that crop won't come out but I'm doing it as a matter of "practice" . After 12 years I will forget the process of growing crops n working in the field so I must keep it doing so that I'm fit to produce the crop,,the moment there is rain after 12 years

Hearing his argument Goddess Parvati praised his version before Lord Shiva & said You may also lose the practice of playing the Damru after 12 years
The innocent Lord Shiva in his anxiety just tried to play the Damru, if he could,,, and hearing the sound of Damru immediately there was rain n the farmer who was regularly working in the field got his crop emerged immediately n others were disappointed

It is the practice which keeps on making you perfect

The game is won during the practice Not during the performance

You become even diseased or old just because you don't practice on your body or mind
Practice is the essence of quality survival

DON'T LET YOUR BLESSING GO AWAY FROM YOU

Dear my friends and relatives..

We can forward all politics memes...forward videos..but this is very much important right now to take a decision to take care of our children.

WE CAN'T CREATE ANY MEMES OR VIDEOS FOR THIS INCIDENT..SO PLZ UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE....

A big thing happened recently before 2days u might have noticed...I felt that i need to share with u... will b correct time to do so...

After reading this if u like plz pass it to your friends and Relatives...

Hasini The girl age 7.5 she is no more..I have forwarded the msg that she is missing..But today I saw that she is dead buried in bush....literally I m depressed after hearing the news...

But now it was found that boy belong to same flat was the criminal..
Hasini has been buried in the bush near a track..after hearing this her parents literally become mad not her parents even every parents will b in their situation....matter of 48hrs police has concluded the issue...

The boy accepted his cruelty....But the loss we never come back...lost kid is lost...

out of many struggles we r bringing out our kid to this world...Till this second we r living for them...They r reason and happiness for our life moreover nothing can replace our kid...

I personally type this for our future concern...plz as a parent don't leave them alone...Don't mistake me..Dont trust anyone..If u r living your child anywhere alone then it's on your risk....Even distance blood relationship people are not in a safe zone...out of all works keep your children in your mind and then carry on with your works...

Don't leave your kid in terrace and u dont do your work..
Don't leave your kid in play area nd u don't go for a walk...
Don't leave your kid in parking place...
Don't leave your kid in neighbours house..
Don't leave your kid alone in birthday parties...
Don't leave your kid anywhere always keep with u...

U may think they should b independent but this is not the age...let them b dependent...no harm in that...after they grow to a certain age sure they will b dependent...They will make a correct move....

Keeping 10months in womb is most important but after getting them in our hands is much more precious to take care of them...

wat they learn  is not important how they getting cared by their parents is prime important here....we r blessed by our parent's...our kids r gifts and blessing for us....

DON'T LET YOUR BLESSING GO AWAY FROM YOU...

This issue may b a news...but it should not happen again in future...I get tears wen I imagine their parents situation....worst  situation in the world...plz pass my msg to all...this is not just a words my me...wat I feel I share with u...

THIS IS NOT TO MAKE U AFRAID THIS IS A ALERT MESSAGE WAT I FEEL...RIP HASINI DEAR...

I PRAY FOR HER PARENTS..

Wonderful to read👍👍

A man married a beautiful girl. He loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. Slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much.

One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow.

He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.

A man from behind called and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you.

He replied, I am not blind. I was acting,  because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.

Moral:- Some times it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another's short comings, in order to be happy

No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth. That's the spirit of FORGIVENESS. Even though the eyes don't see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together. That's UNITY." May the Lord grant us all the spirit of forgiveness and togetherness.

1. ''Alone I can 'Say' but together we can 'talk'.
2. "Alone I can 'Enjoy' but together we can celebrate

3.  'Alone I can 'Smile' but together we can 'Laugh'.

That's the BEAUTY of Human Relations. We are nothing without each other

  STAY CONNECTED

  QUOTE OF THE DAY

The razor blade is sharp but can't cut a tree; the axe is strong but can't cut the hair.

MORALS; Everyone is important according to his/her unique purpose,Never look down on anyone unless you are admiring their shoes.

Jai Hind

Do you support Raees Movie

Some of you must have seen the video of the heroine of ‘Raees’ doing the rounds….now before you decide to go and see the movie ‘Raees’;

pls know and verify certain details :

- The movie is based on the real life of a gangster from Amdavad, Gujarat – Abul Latif. He is being glorified !!

- He was born in Kalupur and had six siblings – nothing surprising – and was very poor.

- For money, he started bootlegging in the ‘Dry’ Gujarat. The spectacular “River Front” that you see in our “Karnavati” used to be Abdul Latif’s adda and base.

- Not happy and satiated with these illegal activities; he met Dawood Ibrahim and planned terrorism in India.

- He was into extortion, kidnapping, drug-sale…he even partially funded 1993 Mumbai blasts.

- As the next step he collaborated with Congress and won 5 seats in Municipality in the Muslim majority slum areas.

- In 1995 the harassed population, voted and brought BJP to power and in 1997 Latif was shot dead in an encounter in todays’ “River Front” area.

Now that I have jogged your memory; some questions :

1. Why is Sharukh glorifying Dawood’s friend ?

2. Do you understand, why Sharukh is always stopped by US Immigration ?

3. Who is funding the movie, Dawood ?

4. Was that the reason for the Pakistani heroine ?

5. Why depict an fourth rate gangster as a “Robinhood”

6. Should India tolerate such movies as ‘Artistic Freedom’ or ‘Freedom of Expression’ ?

7. Are you aware, till last week Pakistan had banned all Bollywood movies – after our Army’s surgical strike.

DO THINK OVER :

By seeing & supporting this movie you are converting some anti-national’s Black Money into white !!

JAI HIND

Inspiring Story

A famous writer was in his study room. He picked up his pen and started writing :

**Last year, I had a surgery and my gall bladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time.

**The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job. I had spent 30 years of my life in this publishing company.

**The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father.

**And in the same year my son failed in his medical exam because he had a car accident. He had to stay in bed at hospital with the cast on for several days. The destruction of car was another loss.

At the end he wrote: Alas! It was such a bad year!!

When the writer's wife entered the room, she found her husband looking sad & lost in his thoughts. From behind his back she read what was written on the paper. She left the room silently and came back with another paper and placed it on side of her husband's writing.

When the writer saw this paper, he found his name written on it with following lines :
**Last year I finally got rid of my gall bladder due to which I had spent years in pain....

**I turned 60 with sound health and got retired from my job. Now I can utilize my time to write something better with more focus and peace.....

**The same year my father, at the age of 95, without depending on anyone or without any critical condition met his Creator.....

**The same year, God blessed my son with a new life. My car was destroyed but my son stayed alive without getting any disability......

At the end she wrote:

This year was an immense blessing of God and it passed well !!!
The writer was indeed happy and amazed at such beautiful and encouraging interpretation of the happenings in his life in that year !!!

Moral : In daily lives we must see that its not happiness that makes us grateful but grate-fulness that makes us happy.

We all need to train our minds to think positive and turn the worst curses into the best divine blessings.

To all my lovely people...
Think positive.....
Be happy...
Stay Blessed.

Brilliant story

Story Happen at Factory

An engine in a factory failed.

The owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure how to fix the engine.

Then they brought in an old man who had been fixing engines since he was young.

He carried a large bag of tools with him, and when he arrived, he immediately went to work.

He inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.

Two of the owners were there, watching this man, hoping he would know what to do.

After looking things over, the old man reached into his bag and pulled out a small hammer.

He gently tapped something.

Instantly, the engine lurched into life.

He carefully put his hammer away.

The engine was fixed!

A week later, the owners received a bill from the old man for Rs.10,000.

“What?!” the owners exclaimed. “He hardly did anything!”

So they wrote the old man a note saying, “Please send us an itemized bill.”

The man sent a bill that read:

Tapping with a hammer.. ……. . Rs. 2/-

Knowing where to tap………. Rs 9,998/-

Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort in your life, makes all the difference.

“Life doesn’t change in ONE MINUTE, but taking decision after thinking for ONE MINUTE can change a life.”

Husband (HR Manager) - Ok.

Husband - Should we go to a cheaper restaurant ?

Wife - What's so difficult in it?

Husband - Defeating me in Pani-puri eating competition is so difficult.

Wife - I can easily beat you.

Husband - Please leave it. It's not your cup of tea.

Wife - Let us have that competition right now.

POPCORN MAFIA In INDIA

POPCORN MAFIA

What is happening in malls.  Apart from prices of movie and parking being exorbitant,  what was too shocking and alarming was the cost of popcorn.  Popcorn being charged at 100, 200 and 300 rupees.

The actual cost of these pack of popcorn shd be not more than 5 rupees. Even after considering the various other costs involved,  they can charge at 20 rupees,  or 30 rupees,  but y more than 300% of the cost.

When the matter was took up,  the vendor said,  as long as we have takers,  we will charge.

Why r we wasting our hard earned money and make these fellows rich.

Let's curb the temptation and let's boycott this popcorn and teach them a lesson.

One average show at one screen has Atleast 500 people and if 300 people buy this popcorn they make easily 25 to 30000 rupees in one show in one screen,  u will be shocked to know that this money runs in lakhs per day per show in just one city.

Come on friends  lets voice it up,  if we stop buying popcorn at malls,  it's sure within 3 months the cost will come down to Atleast 50 rupees,  if not 20.

It may be forwarded to as many groups as possible so that this msg becomes viral and reaches maximum people and we stop this looting by malls.
