Veritas Technologies, the leader in information management, today announced a new agreement with Fujitsu to sell Veritas NetBackup Appliances. The Veritas NetBackup Appliances will be offered alongside the existing Fujitsu ETERNUS range of hardware and provide end users a full range of data protection solutions.
Used by tens of thousands of businesses globally, Veritas NetBackup software simplifies and strengthens data protection throughout the enterprise. Veritas NetBackup Appliances provides both flexibility and cost savings by combining turnkey backup and recovery with deduplication solutions in an easy-to-deploy form factor.

Both NetBackup 5240 and NetBackup 5330 will help provide an easy-to-deploy and low-cost backup and recovery solution for Fujitsu’s global install base.

A versatile, cost-optimised, integrated backup appliance that can be deployed as a master server, media server or both.
NetBackup 5330:
A performance-optimised, integrated backup media server with high-density storage to support greater performance, capacity, and resiliency in the enterprise.
